Can someone tell me what these wires are
While on the Spring Ride last week, I was informed that I had a short in my left taillight. When I braked, the left light went out. I pulled the light and found these wires connected to nothing by the taillight. The other harness wires were all attached inside the light. What are these 2 wires supposed to be connected to? I couldn't think of anything besides a rear fog. (Click on the picture to enlarge)

Well my brake light is no longer shorting out, The ride was in the rain. Can anyone guess where the short was coming from (only when wet)?
