Question What are these holes inside my passenger wheel well, AND do I need new oil lines?

Okay, two questions in one thread.
First, I have a '76 911 with a pretty chopped up/bent in underside, so obviously it was in an accident at some point in it's life.
Anyway, first question is what are these holes in the passenger side wheel well? They are about an inch in diameter and you can see the inside of the smuggler's box if you look through them.

Next question: How bad do these recirrculating oil lines look to you? These are the lines going along the underside of the passenger's rocker panel:

The oil line, while not optimal, is likely fine. Many of these cars have similar or worse dents in their oil lines.
