where to find a small car trailer

I'm looking for a small/light single axle car trailer that could haul my '69 911 around, not much more. Prefer that it weighs 1000 lbs or so, not much more, and it be small, 14' or so, single axle. anyone have any suggestions? something in the northeast would be great.

DON'T go single axle if you value your 911. One blow out will ruin your day.

Plenty of tow dollies if you want small and easy.....do a google for your area for trailer manufacturers. Featherlite makes a nice light weight double axle model. Go with a weight rating that is 30% more than your vehicle....saves on tires.

I had a trailer place down here in Va Beach make me one to my specs for $1500 (1999 prices). It's 14', steel, two axle with electric brakes, simple with no frills. It weighs in at about 1200 lbs and has served me very well for the last 7 years.

There's gotta be a place up your way like this that can make you whatever you want in steel. Aluminum is a different (and more expensive) story, but if you want really light, that may be the way to go. A smart builder should be able to keep a 14-footer in the 1000-1200 lb range, but Mikez's comment about the weight rating is important.
