Good one! I suppose model 930 washers would spin so fast you could throw away the dryer?

The water drains runs down through the grill where it is sucked up by the fan...it's called water injection ;-)

seriously, is it supposed to drain through something or where the tail meets the rear deck lid?

OK, seriously, when it rains the water in my tea tray spoiler runs down into the engine compartment, where it drains out around the motor. I never have any water collection on top, except maybe a little puddle is the spoiler corners that goes away as soon as I start moving.

SC washing machines would spin the opposite direction.

Wholberg.. thanks for replying seriously.... I know water will fall on the engine, but there is that 8" x the width of the base of the tail on the deck lid that could potentially hold about 2 gallons of water.

If i wash my car, it only drains to the outside running down my rear decklid and if i were to open the decklid, i just soaked my engine and the electrics.

If you have an air compressor or a wet/dry vac, when you park (in a garage) get that cleaned/sucked up or another option would be to drill a small hole to drain or run a hose drainage system from the inside portion of the decklid down to the ground.
