Porsche prototype returning to LeMans

Yeah Baby..... That puts a smile on my face.
Its about f'ing time. My only worry is that the damn Audi will have a edge with diesel having to pit less . Now all they need is a GT2 turbo to go fight the vettes. |

So they're spending all this money with hopes for a category-win? I guess that's OK. And they can always pray that all the Audi and Peugeot diesel LMP1s DNF.

This has been the worst kept secret in racing this year!
Porsche spent this money to produce a competetive car that will make them money supporting the privateers in ALMS, LeMans, and LeMans Endurance Series. The speed, reliability, and fuel milage of the Audi diesels has squashed any hopes for overall victory. LMP2 has proven to be a very weak class again so the Spyder just has to be reliable to win its class next year. This should be much easier than Sebring and Houston, which were very bumpy and took apart the cars.
