911 guy's exposure to a 928
My next door neighbor has a 928 and for the past 6 months or so, it has been in the shop having modifications into what is known as a "Stroker" engine if I am spelling this correctly. And today, he stops by and asks if I would like to take a spin, I said sure and I'll I can say is what a car. Apparently the car has 494 HP to the rear wheels.
The car reaches 60 mph so so fast. All in all the upgrades cost him close to $24k excluding the paint job which the car is going in for soon. I love my 911, don't get me wrong but what a beautifully designed machine he has and the car just pulls away from almost anything on the road today.

I used to have a 78 928, and even though it needed a bunch ( I mean a LOT) of stuff, it pulled like a train and hustled down the highway in a cruise-missile/ space shuttle kind of way. Lots of torque! It was a great highway car.
I can only imagine what almost 500 hp would do for it. But, it certainly sounds like fun! Brian

Stroker is right - it will have a long piston movement (stroke), relative to the dia. (bore)
