How does she look??

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here that helped me through the lowering process (wow not to go Dr. Phil on anyone!). Seriously though I think the lowering job made a HUGE difference on my car.
Thanks Again!
Neil

Much nicer. I like the all-black wheels, as well. The car looks much meaner now.
Nice job.

Brian

Looks much better. The black wheels make it look mean.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1149981585.jpg

My wheels are the factory 16" 993 wheels form 1995. 7 inch front, 9 inch rear with 205/245 Fuzion ZRi tires. Just a little different than the next 911SC. Now I want Fuchs bakc again.
Go figure.
The brown car just above looks bada$$, BTW. Very purposeful look to it.

EDIT: Sorry that isn't brown, is it?

kellyporsche 06-10-2006 08:03 PM

Wow I just put the Fuzion ZRi on yest. and I am getting an alignment on monday. How are the ZRi's?

Oh Haha 06-11-2006 05:00 AM

I've had good results with the Fuzions. I don't really care for the rim-protector thingy, though. For the price, they are an excellent tire. I may try the Kumhos next time.

Of the cars pictured in this thred can you guys tell me what your fender measurements are? I'm trying to figure out what euro height looks like and what the measurements would be for an 84 Carrera, Thanks

Oh Haha 06-11-2006 06:52 AM

Mine are measured from the floor to the bottm edge of the fender lips.
24 inch rear, 24.5 front. I have found that my SC seems to be more stable and predictable with a slight rake to it. I belive mine is around 1.5 degrees, measured on the door sill. It may not be 'correct" but it works.

kellyporsche 06-11-2006 12:48 PM

Well after about 4 tries with the torsion bars (I can now do it with no hands and blind-folded) mine is 23.5 rear and 23 in front. I absolutely love it and was well worth the time!!!!!

rfuerst911sc 06-11-2006 01:50 PM

Mine are 24.5 front and 24.75 rear.
