Anybody try KUMHO ECSTA 711 tires?

Tire rack is having a special and I can basically get 2 full sets of tires for a bit over $400. I figgure at that price I wont feel bad thrashing them if I ever make it to a DE.

Like a lot of the Kumo line, they run on the narrow side for their size. For looks they suck, narrow and crappy ribbed textured sidewalls. For performance, for the money, they are almost unbeatable. Dunlap look much more impressive, wider more aggressive, but are inferior performance wise.

Sorry I take back my feedback on the 711 model tire. Mine are the Supra 712 . Close name but different tire.

I'd pass on them. Life's too short to drive on horrible tires.

As far as the looks go, I've seen worse. The sizing is weird. They do look smaller on the car. I had Yoko's on the 930 before the Kumho's and I swear they looked an inch wider than these.

I agree...I currently have the 712s....performance wise, great tires but those ugly ribbed for your protection sidewalls make the car look almost dirty. I love the tread design though....looks very aggressive.
