Clutch question

Hey all
Just got off the highway but as I was shifting into fifth you guessed it I hit third for a brief moment. When I got into fifth she was pulling but as I gave more gas the clutch started to slip. Do you think I fried it or just glazed the plate? I have a 81 SC

I cant see that doing any damage . If anything the disk might have been already worn, maybe that finishedit off.

If it still slips I would say you need a new disk.
