Factory Wheels & Tires

Does anyone have a document or information on what wheels & tires came stock on which 911 models? I have a turbo body conversion '70 Coupe and need to fill up those monster fender wells. Can I fit 18" wheels? What is the widest wheel/tire I should go with?

Give me an idea what model you are looking for, I can look it up. Is it a factory turbo-look? sometimes you can get problems with the front wheels if the size is too large (e.g., 205/65 on 7x16 does not work on my car which is ~2 cm lowered).

Thanks Jens!

No, mine is not a factory wide body. I have
aftermarket flares (huge) and am currently running 215x60x15 on 8 inch wheels in the rear, and 205x60x15 on 7 inch wheels in the front. I guess I am looking to achieve the most aggressive (true turbo)look with some
fat wheels, spacers and wide tires. Any suggestions?

Hey Guys,

A bit late, but I hope to help you with the following figures. These are the factory sizes, I have no idea if they will fit into aftermarket bodies. You should check that before ordering, because from the pictures I have seen, there is not much space left (really agressive...)

The 87 930 came with 7x16 front and 9x16 Fuchs alloys at the rear. Tires were 205/55VR16 and 245/45VR16, respectively.

The 91 Turbo had 7x17 and 9x17 with 205/50ZR17 and 255/45ZR17 tyres. You could choose Bridgestone, Pirelli or Yokohama, depending on the laws of different countries.

The widest things I have found were:
For a 93: 3piece Speedline hollow rims, 8x18 and 10x18 with 225/40ZR18 and 265/35ZR18.

Finally, the 92/93 Turbo S had a hardened Suspension and came with the same Speedline rims 8x18 and 10x18 with 235/40ZR18 and 265/35ZR18. Therefore, body changes were required as well.

Thats all I have now,
Ciao, jens
