Calling all fuchs experts, will 911.361.020 (16x7) fit a narrow body?
i'm looking at a pair and I know some time ago, there was a fitting chart on this bbs that i printed off and filed away.... and i can't find. i have 16x6 on the rears now and want to go to the 7s on the rear but don't know whether this offset is the same as the 16x6. anyone shed any light?

I have a 75 narrow body car that came with 15x6 Fuchs. I upgraded to 16x7 Fuchs, lowered the car and didn't have to roll the fenders or adjust the camber.
I run 205/50/16 tires on all 4 rims.

Are you talking about an early/narrow body? Or a mid-year/narrow body?

Mid-year narrow body. The original thread didn't indicate what year car....

This is a poor picture of my '76 in as-purchased condition (Gawd it was a mess) with 16x7's on the rear. No rolling, no negative camber.
![]() I took the picture to show the bright wheel well trim but you can clearly see the rim. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure of the exact part numbers and I don't have access to the car at the moment (I'm at work!). Here's the link to the thread I started with the same question when my restoration began.
Acceptable Wheel Sizes for 75 911s If you have a 1974, you should have no problem with 16x7 wheels with the right tire sizes. I ended up buying a set from a fellow pelican (Jason Cullen) and they were refinished by Al Reed. Jason was awesome to work with and had great pricing. He always has wheels and can get them in any finish you want - he's also a great resource for questions if you have any!

16x7s are an excellent set up for narrow body 911's.
205/50/16 on all fours. Jesse - Appreciate the words and nice seeing you on the board. Thank you, Jason |

Jason and Jesse are right. The key to this wheel size working is the 205/50 anything larger and you have contact with fender well like Don was saying. When my dad had my 74 targa he had 225/50s on the same wheel you have and it gave him fits all the time.

Dan's pic iced it, I'm running 225x50 on the rear and have no fitting probs. Cosmetically i like the wider look on the rear with the 6s on the front, a little more aggresive looking.

Anybody ever use 225/45/16 on a 16x7 in the rear, and a 205/50/16 on a 16x6 in the front, on an early car, '69-'77? I've seen plenty of early cars running 225/50/15's, and the 225/45/16 (supposedly) has the same width and outside diameter (+/- .1in) as a 225/50/15.
