Hard Strarting 79 911

My stock injection 911 starts and immediately dies. After 5-6 tries it will idle roughly and pop through the air box. After @ 5 minutes it seems to run fine. I've checked timing and air leaks. Any suggestions?

With no air leaks that's a classic warm up regulator symptom, easy to troubleshoot with a Bosche K-jet manual and a set of pressure guages. Believe or not, these guages are cheaply available in the VW section of the JC Whitney catalog, and seem to be the same as the much more expensive ones in other Porsche specific catalogs.
