Warm vs Cold

I am trying to get a distinction between having a Cold Start Or Warm Start problem. I have an '83 911SC 3.0L which starts fine in the morning. After the drive to work about 5mi. the car sits for about 4 or 5 hours. When I go to start it cranks more than normal befor it starts. Is this a Warm or Cold start problem? I have replaced the Fuel Accumulator and WUR. The WUR fixed my idle hunt problem. My mechanic adjusted the fuel mixture. Appreciate the help
