Porsche Crest Haltech NEXUS set up

Haltech seems to be coming up with some great products, I'm curious to see everyone's NEXUS R3 and R5 set ups, any anything you have learned along the way. they seems to be gaining popularity and I think they make a great option considering price point and capability

I am currently in the working on a 3.1L 1983 911sc with full EFI, ITB's and the whole nine yards. The plan is to run all engine items of the Nexus and the ENTIRE car off of a PDM 16 all with full can bus integration, including gauges while keeping stock looking appearance

I had a great deal of difficulty with an AIM Infinity (car never fired) but my Haltech Elite 1500 ran without any issues. TunedByShawn did the tuning. Mine is a 968 Turbo flex fuel configuration.

I’m running a Haltech R3 on my 1980 SC with PMO ITBs, DBW, a push-button starter, and more. I’ve posted quite a bit about the build already, so rather than retyping everything here, feel free to search for my earlier threads if you're curious about the setup.
Honestly, I’m not convinced the ECU brand makes a huge difference—most of the major players seem to work well. I went with the R3 mainly because I wanted drive-by-wire support and built-in power distribution. For my goals, it ticked those boxes nicely.
