New Porsche owner
I've just bought my first Porsche (an 83 911SC with a 3.2). I would like to change the oil have been told there are two drain plugs. Is this true, if so where are they? (I see the one). Also, anyone know how to get a mirror finish on Fuch lips? (and please don't recommend wheel polish and a lot of elbow grease, even rubbing compound won't take off the oxidation).

The other oil plug is behind the passenger rear wheel in the oel tank.
As for your wheels have them professionally polished or take 2000 grit wet sand paper and carefully wet sand the lip of your wheel until all imperfections are taken out ,then use Mothers wheel polish to take out the fine scatches this will take several hours to do right. |

If your wheels are like the ones on our 1987 Turbo, they have a clear, satin coat finish on the natural areas. This was not on all factory wheels I am told by wheel refinishers in the San Diego area. I wondered why ours always looked exactly the same with no further oxidation (I thought) and the clear coat is why. If you remove the clear in spots then the finish of the natural areas will look different in the places where it is removed. I'd recommend having a wheel shop that will clear coat them do the wheels.
