Windshield Wiper Trouble

The wipers on my 73 911t do not park in the proper place.Upon turning them off, they go
to the park position and then slowly creep
up approx. 1.5 in.This takes about 5 sec.
and is driven by the motor.Car does not have
intermittent wipers. B.Anderson & A.Caldwell
came up empty so some super wonk has a chance to be a hero.

Thanks for the reply. Did the 16 inch boxes go under the wheels or the tie rods (with additional blocks)? Did you rent a jack that goes up 38 inches, that a lot! Did you roll the assembly out on a jack that rolls or did you build something that rolls and place the jack ontop of this?

Might be dirt/etc in the wiper switch, still making contact, just enough so they creep some, but not enough power to run them. I'd try opening the switch on the steering column and clean it out really good with some contact cleaner. I would also try another switch if you can find one.
