POR-15
I'm just about to start undercoating and priming my 70 911 project and I am considering using POR-15. Has anyone had experience using it as opposed to other rust inhibiting undercoats/primers?

I had used it on a 1972 targa and it worked really well. I never had a rust problem on the areas that were coated and I drove the car all year round. In fact, it worked so well, that when we had a rough winter in the northeast the floor remained perfect, but the rockers were getting bad.

I have used POR-15 products for years, and they are simply the best.
If you can reach the areas to properly clean/prepare them, and get the POR-15 on them (preferably both sides of the metal), I doubt that you will ever have a rust problem again. POR-15 simply is in a class by itself, in my opinion. Brian (I have no interest in the company, am just a very satisfied customer!). |
