Don - I think I'm the one who said 3pm. My apologies - we start at 3 during the "winter months". Guess I forgot daylight savings time!
|
Yeah Don,
He tells you 3 pm and he shows up after 4. Don't let him ***** you like that:D |
let me know when the next one is...i will stick around....no worries
|
With an extra hour to kill, I'd have been chasing the waitresses! Mind you they fail the "closer-to-your-daughter's-age-than-to-your-age" test so maybe I'd just watch instead of chase.

Yea! Chuck and Randy are really nice guys.
Last November at the PCA club race CMP Chuck, Randy and little Chucky joined us. He brought his 906 car. Saturday night after the day at the track we went to Leo's ate about a 100 hot wings and had a few pitchers of ice cold brew.:D We had a great time! ;) SmileWavy http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1150753618.jpg |
I never get tired of looking at that car. It is one of the best looking cars Porsche ever made IMHO.
|
Wow Dave thansk for that, amazing, dont superformance cobras sell for near that as a roller? That would be too much fun!
|
superformance / Hi Tech autos have an amazing facility in South Africa. It is actually a v nice scaled down auto mfg plant with the various departments on site. Besides the upcoming 904, they already produce the cobra daytona coupe recreation, the noble twin turbo supercar, as well as the cobra roadsters.
i am sure that some of the clientele that is attracted to these cars will always want something several steps above the rest with regards to horsepower, brakes, handling- but for less than 100k for completed cars in well spec-ed trim- i am impressed |
If I'm not mistaken a fully done up SP GT went for around $50k at a Barrett Jackson auction a year or two ago. I believe it was in Phoenix. I couldn't believe the price.
It was simply beautiful. |
rickm; i don't think it was a sp gt. CAV makes the cars in south africa as well- but there are numerous detail differences with the SP cars. The SP cars were recently introduced. CAVs seem to trade in the 70-90k range till the SP became available.
Possibly a KVA gt (made in england with 'glass bodywork and renault transaxle) nice enough looking car but not much in common with the Safir Mk5 , the SP, or the ERA made cars- all in the higher $$ value range due to their following the original designs closely KVAs sell in the 40-60k range |
