Rebuilt CD boxes.
 
can anyony share the results on rebuilt CD boxes. How can I test mine as I think it is my starting problem. Should I just buy a new one????

Pelican sells rebuilt Bosch CD's. That's good enough credibility imo.

Early_S_Man has some wonderful threads on rebuilding, testing, common failure parts, you name it he's posted it on Bosch CD.

I always carry a spare of everythig I can't fix with a paper clip and screwdriver on the side of the road if needed. I even used a wire connector buss to quickly flip the pertronix with its spare.

It is Loren's shop, and he's got some good information on diagnostics and troubleshooting.
