Newbie finally introduces himself..
Hi Everyone!
I should have introduced myself a while ago. Oops! Now I have a picture of my 72 911T that I hope will be visible. Man, have I been impressed by the vast amount of Porsche knowledge and the cunning wit and (healthy) attitude here. Where else would I learn about the hidden flow restrictor in the return fuel line? Or , perhaps, the Microphone Stand/ beer-bong, transmission funnel? I've had this 911T for a while now ...It had been ready for the junk-yard when I bought it. A front end collision, dings everywhere, and lots of rust . THE way NOT to buy a Porsche, but at least I could learn how to do body work , etc. I took it down to bare metal and painted it Olive with catalysed acrylic enamel. The next big project will be a front oil cooler and Elephant oil lines. Saving up for that one. Thanks for everything! Pat |
Can't see the pic, but in the meantime, could you fill me in on the MS/beer bong funnel? Been here since '01 and missed that one.

Looking forward to seeing your 72T. Olive is a unique, funky color. :)

Every time I see an Olive early 911 I think it should have red gumballs on it.

Hi again,
I'm having trouble with posting a photo...sorry. I'll keep trying. Milt; The microphone stand attached to a clear tube with a funnel as a way fill the transmission was a funny thread, I thought. Someone else called it a beer-bong, and longed for the 80's. As if we really needed a way to force more alcohol into the system! --Pat |
Welcome, where are you located? If you can't post here, and don't have another site to post, try photobucket.com
I posted this one there and linked it using the IMG option above this space. For another forum I visit that doesn't have the capacity to host pictures directly. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i1...2006/Rudge.jpg |
