3.2 Motronic engine - what is this elictrical plug for?

Guys, for the life of me, I cannot remember what went into this plug, if anything. It's directly underneath the Idle Control Valve (ICV). I just got my car back yesterday morning and it runs flawlessly so the plug doesn't seem to have a negative effect as fa as I can tell. I didremove the cruise control system from the car while the engine was out but can't remember if it had a connection to that plug.

Can anyone tell me what it is? I left my Bentley manual at Paul's shop so I don't have access to it for an answer.

I believe that is some sort of diagnostic/test port. Exactly what for I am not sure. On my car it has a protective cap permanately attached that snaps onto it.
