Targa Seal (Euro 78SC)
78SC Euro Targa here...
I will likely replace my targa seal from our host - but I'm a bit confused... Is the seal is one single piece - or do I need to get 3 pieces? Mine is more than bit beat up as you'll see... Please see picture below - anybody have one? Tom ![]()

Yeah, it's a one piece seal. The sides are supposed to have a cloth cover but looks like that has worn off yours.
I have replaced this on my car in the past. The install isn't too bad. Just make sure you get all the old glue etc. out of the way. jt -84 targa |

Yeah. Removing the old seal and glue takes a little bit of time. Make sure to glue the center of the new seal because it has a tendency to want to pull away from the roll bar cover when the top is on, at least on my car.
Someone posted a link to a pdf of a factory targa top adjustment procedure a while ago. I'm pretty sure it talked about seal replacement also. You may want to do a search? jt |
