Euro trip taking in LeMans 24
Just got back from our trip.
We went From Manchester UK to Geneva Switzerland, to Nice, over the Milau bridge and finally camped for 3 days in LeMans to watch the race. Have to say absolutely awesome trip. drove 2500Miles in 6 days through some of the most breathtaking scenery and roads in the world. With only one pull from Le Gendarmes for having a German style Irish number plate on a UK registered left hand drive Swiss imported car. ![]() Pics. ![]()

Sounds like a great trip. I went to Le Mans too - but only as a passenger this time. I'll be there again in a couple of weeks for the classic though - and driving this time.
Intrigued by the numberplate. I bought my car in Germany and I really liked the pressed metal plates. I thought about getting some done but didn't have any luck. What was their problem with them? |

They wondered why they didn't have the 2 badges on them, then after the pull were even more confused when they saw the UK Reg doc.
