H1's w/ yellow lens......Wow.....they are yellow!
Just installed a set of used H1's with the yellow lens I grabbed on eBay for my autocross buggy. Man they are yellow....especially when you turn them on. This is mostly for aggravating my autocross/track buddies. At night I will likely use my "thru-the-horn-grill" driving lights in order that I don't attract too much attention. Again this is on my dedicated autocross/track car which does not see much normal street duty. It's a fun new look I guess.

I love this french yellow headlight, the best talking about visibility. But in CA, cops will love you.

Stock alternator....
Just plugged the H1's into my existing wiring to see how they looked. Will be installing relays this weekend for a more permanent setup. Don't even know what size (wattage) bulbs are in H1's as well. Will be checking through all these things in the coming days.

Yes, they DO look good on your green car. I've got H1's and contemplated getting the yellow's, but don't think they would look good on my red car.
Way to go!

Will this awesome looking modification also require that you develop a "french accent"? Of course you'll need to acquire a plentiful quantity of those "french cigarettes" (and learn how to chain smoke them)!
But the real question is will you have to change the color of your stripe? Does a "yellow" Carrera stripe have a deeper, political, "French" meaning? Depending on the answer, you might also consider posting in "off topic" and let the politicos have their way with you! ![]() ![]() JUST FUNNIN....looks cool! Hey they might even improve your autoX times, certainly in night autoXes!

hey Jeremy
no...my highschool French is so attrocious that I'm staying away from any French accents i think what i am after is the confuse and diffuse factor my dad used to wear the wildest pants he could find when he played golf with his buddies it really distracted them he told me so same with me i'm trying to gain the psychological edge against my competitions on the autocross course we'll see if it works or not it could backfire as i piss them all off and they really stomp on me ![]()
