suspension/shocks

I currently have a 1977 Targa, with Koni shocks, and weltmeister sway bars. It has been suggested that I change them to Bilstien shocks and sway bar for a more comfortable ride, any opinions on this? Thank you, they are the original shocks and it is very bumpy.

Have you set your Koni's to their sofest settings?
Bilsteins are less harsh than that, but non-adjustable. I liked them very much on my much lamented 82 SC. I am told that Boge(Sach)are softer yet. BTW the BEST price on shocks for our Porsches is at....aah,big brother might offense.I'll tell but only in private. (Usual disclaimer here)
