Rear Carrera Script
 

OK... I'm giving myself my own medicine and did a "search" on the "correct" location of the Carrera script on the rear lid of an 85 Carrera. I see some consistent answers around 11.5" measured from the bottom edge of the deck lid to the bottom of the script...

...this is for "non-tail" cars......

however...what is the "correct" location for cars with factory Carrera tails? I've seen a few responses but they are either inconsistent or weren't necessarily certified as being "factory" to begin with.

The bottom of the Carrera script is 188 mm from the bottom edge of the rear lid on my stock '84 Carrera

Stock Carrera tail here.

Mine measures 7-5/16" (186 mm) from the bottom edge of the lid up to the bottom of the script.
