Oil Line Adapter Question
I was reading on page 183 of "how to build and modify Porsche 911 engines" and it talks about an Oil Line Adapter. It shows on the right side a nice AN fitting screwed into the case. I was wondering if someone knows where I can get one of these at? If not, does anyone have the standard fitting that goes in there?
Thanks. Eric

I believe patrick motorsports sells all the adapters. You can also call our host and I'm sure they can get them.

BAT Inc is the company that makes them....they are on the east coast. I wouldn't buy spit from Patrick Motorsports.

As does Summit Racing....but when they run out they send you to BAT.....Earl's make their own line too. They seem to be a bit pricier and they don't distribute MOCAL coolers......
BAT seems to specialize in English and Porsche coolers (odd combo), lines and adapters. Elephant Racing (a poster here and a vendor aka Chuck Moreland) does some nice stuff as well. He's a bit on the higher end but well worth the premium if you want the high quality stuff.

Thanks....I've done more than a few 6 cylinder conversions on 914s and a 3.6 in my 911....plumbing can be a beeyotch......
BTW....if you have old cruddy 911 soft oil lines....save the fittings, you can re-use them. Most local truck and forklift shops will recrimp them on new lines.
