Thanks for posting John-Carlos!
I don't know how to post an excel file here and my "test" attempt was absolutely brutal on the eyes. The only thing that I might add is input from others. I know that I am not the only one who has done this and my weight deletions are actually very minimal. I haven't touched the interior at all to this point. Things like rear tail deletes (ianc posted his in a different thread) or a fiberglass replacement, removal of electric seats in favor of fiberglass race buckets, rear seats, carpeting, sunroof, etc, etc would all be worthwhile information and eliminate heresay or guesswork. The other thing is don't take every weight as gospel. While they were all weighed on the same scale, everything is rounded up so the aggregate weight could be off a couple of pounds. For example, an item that may have weighed 2.37 lbs. on the scale became 2.5 lbs. I'm not THAT anal to get it correct to the ounce. My spreadsheet is a continual work in progress as I work on the car and decide what creature comforts I want to have and those I can do without. I use Print-Key to clip out the view of an Excel sheet I have on the screen and make it into a .jpg, which I then upload.

Nice post Ralph! I just pulled my CIS off to install carbs and I couldn't believe how heavy the CIS was. The carbs are significantly lighter. I'll weigh the CIS and report back.

Hi guys
Nice of you all to go to the effort of collating the data for everone - good work. Just in case it might be usefull for this or other projects did anyone know that as part of their world domiation google have released a eb based spreadsheet system that is almost identical to excel - EXCEPT you can access it fom everywhere & anyone else can view/edit it if they have a google account: https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=wise&passive=true&nui=1&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fspreadsheets.google.com%2Fcc c%3Fnew We use it for bug testing websites so our clinets can log in and report bugs and we can then update it with comments when fixed - you can have multiple users changing things and chatting realtime.

anyone else can view/edit...
I thought you had to specify a list of Email addresses that can view it? If not, let me know and I'll move my Excel sheet of wts. for various parts etc. over there...

yeah you have to add users, what I meant was that anyone with a web browser can see it - no Excel required.
Still a decent place to store detials you might want to share with others.
