Rear Swaybar Mounts and Arms
Spent today figuring out swaybar arm angles and heim joint locations. Now just gotta clean everything up and mount permanently. What ya think?

Your work looks very nice. If you made these yourself, you have some serious talent. My only observations, coming from someone that has had numerous rear sway bar failures, are: How generous are the interface splines? This is a common weakpoint and I have seen splines strip out (Weltmeister). The length of the arms seem a little long for the the thickness of the bar. Once again, you will find these out by the performance. Depends on what you are aiming for. Nice work.

Looks great!
You'll want to remove some material from the lower rear of the lever arms. If you don't, the ground will! What did you use for the crossbar? Is it solid or hollow?

Yea guys, what I meant by cleaning things up is I'm going to taper the arms down from the swaybar hole to the heim mounting hole.
Tyson- The bar is a schroeder bar I cut down to get the length I need. Gary is cutting some the right length as we speak. They are solid for now. Might think of doing some hollows in the future. The weight saving wasn't all that great from what I remember on the cup cars. How's the job going? Gotta like your new position as "test pilot".

It looks like you have the torsion bar removed. When you move it through the entire range of motion is there any resistance to travel? Go on the angle finder and determine the approximate spring plate angle for laden ride height and test particularly around that angle.
Are those reinforced sway bar mounts? If I remember correctly the factory type has a "butterfly" reinforcement welded to it. Don't want to tear them off the car the first time out. Other than that the workmanship is excellent. I would make the levers out of Titanium so that when you hit a bump there's a huge shower of spraks, street-racer style! (Of course I am joking. ![]()
