Okay-I'm cross posting on this and the 964 board, but more traffic here so....
What are your thoughts on this car. Check out the carfax and see if you can spot the inconsistancy. I was seriously considering it, but .............. |

If all is as said, it sounds great. But.....
Reserve not met. How much are you willing to pay? Repainted to factory standards??? Why would a car that supposedly has been so lovingly cared for need that? Suspicious.

Thats a good idea. I like how his first sentence states..."I WILL NOT misrepresent anything I sell on eBay. To do so would only be a waste of your time and mine..." yet the carfax could be doing just that.
Or I could be wrong. It is very nice looking though.

No Distributor Vent Kit installed.
No Distributor Vent Kit installed. I know the earlier 964s need a vent kit not 100% sure about a '93 but i would make sure. It is simple and cheap to install...just something that should be there. The first pic is your ebay car with no vent kit and the second pic is a car with the vent kit installed.

Too many 'red flags' on that car but there are some really GREAT deals to be had on ebay. I bought 4 cars, 4 bikes, and one 3 wheeler off ebay way below blue book. Keep your eyes open and something will show.
BTW, for me, if it has a reserve you'll end up paying fair market value for it. Look for the NO RESERVE auctions with a lower than blue book starting bid.
