a "no wash, no shine" thread
Forget the clay bar and Zaino. Some of us like them well used and a bit filthy.

Uh, broken headlight lenses are fun???...you want to play on the track, you ought to pull the lights, install covers...

Hate to tell you Paul, I had fiberglass covers on. Took a rock at some point and it still broke the lense. Haven't had time to swap in new ones. I'm going to rig some sort of retainer so I can easily pull them at the track. The right side is set up to come out as there is a cooling vent there.

See the screw at the bottom of the trim ring? I heard a rumor that if you turn it in a counterclockwise direction...

True, but rumor has it (from some track junkies) is that if you use that more than a few times, your headlight will have a tendency to spontaneously leave the bucket...like at stoplights and whatnot.

Go Gators!

That's a whole bunch of track boogers. Except for the headlight, it looks like someone had a great time!

Bird. It's the word...

Paul (PWD), that car of your yours always makes me cry... it's just sooo beautiful!
Nostatic, I'm pretty sure there is a polycarbonate lens available for H4s to replace the glass... it may be a better alternative when combined with a cover at the track... I'm currently using the 3M 3mm 'lite skinz' which is really a super thick and clear vinyl, it seems to work very well.

And then there is me who wakes up every morning with the words "Must wash car" repeating like a song from the radio
![]() I remember when we drove the car to Sweden from England, I had to find somewhere to clean the bugs off every other day - I must be sad!!!
