Engine starts....after 22 years
Hey,
I have been restoring a 1973 911t. I have replaced the fuel lines, cleaned and lined the tank. Replaced the spark plugs, it seems like the car is getting gas, but it won't start. Any suggestions to wake the engine up from it 22 year sleep? thanks

got it starter.
for the first time in 22 years.
sounds really strong. my problem was the electric fuel pump. i was not getting any fuel past it. got that going and she fired up. i am thinking about sandblasting the heater boxes and exhast, then powder coating after i weld a few holes shut. rebuilding the calipers this week. a tune up and she should be ready to rock.

Have you checked the obvious, coil, spark, points (if any)?
