Changing Transmission oil

Thinking about changing transmission oil on a 84 911 carrera. Any one had success and any tricks, recommendation would be appreciated.

I did our 1987 a year or so ago and the only hard part was loosening the drain and fill plugs. I bought the adapter Snap-On sells for this. I also ran it a while, got it good and hot to help the oil drain better and used synthetic on the refill. Make sure the car is on good jack stands as you will probably use a fair amount of force loosening the plugs.

Since the filler plug hole is on the side of the tranny, get one of those plunger type fillers,looks like a grease gun.You cannot pour oil in the hole out of a can no matter what shape the can is. Ned
