Guys, how easy/difficult is it to remove the FPR from the fuel rail?
It's tucked away behind that left fuel rail pretty good, and I'm just wondering how the heck to get to it without an engine drop? Suggestions?

Its not fun, but its tedious rather than hard. The lines are a combination of 17 and 19mm, and the flats on the regulator are 15, IIRC. You might need to to temporarily remove the upper hose from the fitting as well. Once the hoses are off, the bracket is held on with a couple bolts w/ 10mm heads. Installation is more tedious than removal, particularly if you've got a Protomotive RR fpr, as it barely fits, and the bracket has to be bent "just so" for all of the hoses to line up. All the monkeying with the hose isn't good for old ones, I had a shop put new hose on the one from the damper to the fpr as a precaution, it was only 10 bucks or so, they reused my fittings and just used new swedges.

hmmm, yeh I have the Proto RR FPR. I'm going to remove it and take the top off to check that the diaphragm isn't torn and that the piston moves freely

Where I said "upper hose from fitting" above, I meant "filter", not fitting. It'll be obvious.
