San Diego Pelicans: 964 C4RS ltwt at Symbolic in La Jolla
Bored on a beautiful Friday after class, so I decided to cruise on down to Symbolic in downtown La Jolla (a 5 minute drive from the UCSD campus) and while strolling around their showroom I saw this fairly well-used C4RS ltwt. with 5300km on the odometer. If you guys get a chance, go check it out. The salesman told me it's priced somewhere in the low $100K range, seemed pretty damn low to me, maybe he didn't know exactly what it was, or I'm possibly out of the loop on the market for these cars.
When I first walked up to it, I figured it was just a modded Carrera or possibly RSA, but my eye caught the sticker crest on the hood and then the oil door on the passenger-side rear qtr panel and I knew she was something special. Once I glanced inside and saw those two silver saucers on the dash, I pretty much melted ![]() A couple crappy camera-phone pictures. have a good weekend everyone ![]() EDIT: Forgot to mention, the car is rolling on Cup 1s, I didn't inquire about the status of the original magnesium D90s.

I'm going to check it on out Saturday. I'll be in La Jolla anyways. How much do those weigh? Do they have modified engines?

Yeah , good eye.. it also doesn't have the one piece fiberglass tail either it seems to have a standard Carrera tail with rubber lip.. and the wheel the CUP 1's are MAGNESIUM if you look on the website they have. I guess they were from a Euro Carrera RS.. but yeah they are not what it came with from the factory.. GREAT ar none the less!! I'd love to have it

Forgive me for asking a dumb question. How do you it past the California clean air rules? The car was never homologated for the states. Just curious.

dom,
You can't run it on the street. "Off-road" use only.
