Anyone know the part number or description of this?
Or, a resonable replacment or where to get plastic material to "Make Do"?

It's the drain tube that runs from the bottom of the heater/blower box, and goes down through the smugglers box and out the pan under the car.

Well, my connection at Porsche found the part number.

It's an 89' part number (911-571-224-00) but should be the same for earlier years.

BUMMER it's discontinued and not super.

So if anyone has found a good replacment, let me know.

These are the same type of material as 914 drain tubes. It's been a while but you may be able to scrounge one at a salvage yard. There are 2 located in the engine bay.

Paul, your not going to believe this, but tonight I was at lowe's and found the exact tube for a wash machine drain. I know it's not a p-car item, but it worked for me.

Right ON Duke, I'll have to take a look and measure. The original measures 1" ID.

Oneblue... If the Lowes washer stuff doesn't work, I know where there is a 914 to barrow from.

If you want the real stuff, Parts Heaven can almost surely remove a piece from one of their hulks.
