Pictures from Sloan Show

We had a good time. My Dad, wife and son also went with me. I'll probably head out there again today. Got to see some people who are only around once a year.
BTW: Two people asked me if I was a drug dealer. Never been asked that before.
Mike

How small is your wife? I assume your father sat up front and the wife and your son sat in back.
Nice car BTW. here in the northeast, we haven;t seen the sun since father's day. Every carshow aound here in CT has been literally a wash out.

My Dad rode with me. My wife and son drove over in our other vehicle. The last couple of weeks, my son has been riding around with me quite a bit in the porsche. He really seems to enjoy it. His vocabulary is still pretty limited at 2 years old, but he he knows to sit in the porsche, point and say "go".

I just assumed you were! J/K! Lookin' good! Did you get your idle back to normal? I've been working on a swing set for the kids. The kits are VERY tempting, but I'm thinking I might design/Engineer my own. Who knows, I'll probably end up with a kit. Could've used you and Wayne this weekend with shovels! WOW! I'm sore! Anyways, it looks like you had lots of fun. We did make it for the ice cream cruise on Saturday and a guy in a 944 went off the road in a farmer's field. No one was hurt except his pride.

Wayne - It must be the way you drive! You probably drive like an old man cause Jacob fell asleep, your brother fell asleep on the Rally. You know next time we go somewhere like a train ride I'm going to ride with you to catch up on some sleep!

I took a '77 Targa to a show in Alablama about 3 counties away from Burmingham and on the way toward Atlanta. Guy walks by and tells his son, "Theyat's a Poorsh, thay doan myake thaem eanymo-or." Well, it was the only Europen car at the show and I'm sure the whole population of this little hickville hamlet thought I was a drug dealer.

And I didn't have a Carrera tail either. Just a Targa with 6" Fuchs all around.

Bill,
I cleaned out the ICV with no results. I have to adjust the idle. August 5th is looking pretty good BTW.
Wayne,
Noah almost fell asleep on the way back from the Y the other day. Must be the engine noise and kids.

There were a lot of cool cars there. Most people were pretty friendly. One guy was too friendly. Stood around and talked at me for 30 minutes about volvos and police radar. He left then came back. Luckily he then latched on to the guy next to me.

I have to go to the Y in a few minutes, but I'll post the pictures of the 356 and 911SC that were there later on today.

This is the 1979 911SC that was one of the award winners.

I believe the 356 is a 1962. I can't remember. I run into the owner often during the summer. I'll ask him the next time I see him.

The SC is the one I left my business card on last year, asking if he was a "Pelican". He never called.
It is a very nice car, BTW.

He probably thought you were trying to sell something. You shoulda put on there 'for a good time call' message. Then you probably would have been called!

Ignore me! I'm on a roll tonight......
