Removing factory 911 alarm?
 

Hi,

Anyone know how to remove the factory alarm? Having trouble getting rid of an aftermarket alarm and also wondering how to completely remove the factory alarm on a 81 911 SC.

Disconnect the battery and find the alarm control box trace the wires to thier destination and disconnect them ensuring that if the are spliced into your harnes that you cut and reconnect all original wires. Have extra fuses handy. Place alarm in a fire proof container douse with lighter fluid in a well ventilated area and ignite from a distance.
