74 911 alternator hook up

my alternator went down so im here hooking up the new one and as i am looking at the wireing diagram i am finding it is contradicting how it was hooked up the first time. I dont no if my ownsers diagram is correct can anyone tell me or send me the correct diagram of how to hook it up. thanks

Email me at engineer@centerseat.net with a picture of your wires and the back of your alternator.
I have a 74 and know what you are going thru.

I have a correct diagram and will translate it for you.

I will try anyway. I had mine hooked up wrong which it was wired like the book said.

I will send you an email with the wire colors

Blue goes to the D+
Black goes to the DF
Brown goes to the D-
Red goes to the B+

I actually had mine hooked up backwards and realized it when I started my car and the gen light didnt go out.

This is the hook up setup I use.
