Mechanic for Early 911 Needed in WV

I am in need of a mechanic to help me get my 75 911S Targa back on the road, and to begin the eventual upgrade (downgrade to some) from CIS to carbs.

I could go into details about the problem I am having with my 911 (will crank but not start) but the solutions posted by you all would probably go over my limited mechanical mind.

I can't wait to read forums in twenty years on todays automobiles, when their computers fail and replacement parts are non-existent because they were recycled into toasters.

I am located in the Huntington/Charleston, WV I-64 corridor area.

Thank you to all who responds.

wvgeo There is a shop just north of Charlston I think the name of the town is Clendenin . I was there a few years ago it is a very nice VW shop but I think they have Porsche connections .This wouldbe an easy drive from your location . Also Autodynamics near Elkins phone 823-3799 talk to Craig . This shop specializes in brit cars but I have seen 911s there also .They know CIS systems and are very good with carbs . Sorry I can"t be more help . I do my own work so I have not looked around .

Too Bad we are too far apart to be worth the trip. Most CIS problems can be fixed fairly easily. Just need to check everything before condeming anything.
