Calling CT-area Pelicans...
I am considering a career change, and I was wondering if any CT-area Pelicans work directly with/on Porsche cars? Even with a BA and soon-to-be-completed Master's degree in English, I am realizing that I would be happiest if I was in a field involving my #1 hobby.
I am just beginning to do some networking here, so any imput would be greatly appreciated!

hey CJ, I think I saw you in your 944 turning onto Park road in West Hartford a few weeks ago. I was in my brown 911..It was the Corbeaus that caught my attention..lol

There are some very good pcar dedicated shops in CT, the two that come to mind are Musante Motorsports and Hairy Dog Garage (Dan Jacobs). I think they can do everyting pretty much. I know Dan because he has done work on one of my cars. He is very good. There is another upscale racing shop in Danbury (at the airport) FarnbacherLol, guy spent a fortune on the facility and does everything as well, has collection of race cars, mods the new Cayman and may sponsor race team. They all have websites so do a search on Google and you will find these shops as well as others. Don't know if the market is saturated yet but might be getting that way. Automobile Associates is another one that is excellent, they probably have the longest track record and best rep for concour and club racing support (Jim Newton). They all go to LR for club raing and DE days. Good Luck

You might want to try New Country Porsche of Greenwich, I believe they were looking for technicians and a service writer a few weeks ago (i'm also debating a career change)
