Deciding on a 76 911S?

I hvae an opportunity to purchase a 76 911s w/90,000 miles. Can anyone tell me the pros & cons for this model & year?

The biggest down side to the 76 is the motor.
The 2.7L can be make to be realiable but requires extensive rework.
If the updates have been done and the records are there to prove it they can be a good car. If it hasn't been properly rebuilt
don't touch it as a rebuild will run approx
$10K which is more than the car is worth.
An 80 or later SC is a much better car.
