Refurbished Alloy Wheels from Wheelenhancement.
Has anyone ever dealt with the company " Wheelenhancement " which advertises in Excellence magazine? What finish is " polished " for original Fuchs wheels ?
I was thinking about trading my set of wheels for a set in stock, already refurbished . Thanks again. |

They are the best and most expensive. Compare them them with TrueWheel. They are on the net at www.fixarim.com

I've had great luck with Rennsport out of the Atlanta area, their prices are more than fair and their work is superb.

"Polished" fuchs wheels have the aluminum stripped and polished to look like chrome, either the whole wheel or just the five spokes.

Wheel Enhancement is the business formerly known as Robert W. Wood, Inc. Wheel Enhancement is owned by the guy who started Robert W. Wood, Inc., whose name is, you guessed it, Robert Wood.
I don't know why there was a name change. At one point, I thought that Robert Wood sold his business to someone else, but I'm not sure this is true because I don't think there is a Robert W. Wood, Inc. around anymore. Plus, usually when you sell a biz, the buyer insists that the seller sign a non-compete agreement, which would have prevented Robert Wood from going back into this biz. Anyways, Robert Wood, the individual, has been known for many years in Porsche concours circles. My 16 x 7 and 8's were done by Robert W. Wood 6 or so years ago, back to the factory anodized finish. I was, and am, very happy with the work. It was not cheap, but the wheels came back looking factory new. Brian |

Robert Wood sold the company Robert Wood to his half-brother several years back. He got back into the business by starting Wheel Enhancement. Not sure if Robert Wood the company still exists; they did about a year ago.
