carb linkage

I need some help please. I'm in the process of rebuilding 1970 911T. The
engine is from a '71. The problem is, I bought the engine in bits and have
put every thing back together as far as the carbs. I have no idea what way
the linkages work if I have all the parts or even the right parts. What I
have is, two plates that look like they should bolt on to the platforms
under the carbs, A piece with one arm on one end and two on the other,
these looks like the ends fit into the plates mentioned above, but these do
not line up. There is one other long piece that I have no idea which way
it goes. Thats all the bits I have. It seems like there should be alot
more. Does anyone have photos of this setup so I know what parts I need.
Any books I've seen do not show this area very clearly and I don't know
anyone with a car I could take a look at.
thanks in advance for any help.

Try the Haynes manual, or look in the paper for another "T" from 71 and photograph the setup. If the setup is like mine, the longer shaft goes between the two sets of carbs. The system is not overly complicated, but there are alot of pieces. I know of a 73"T" that is in my parking garage that I will try to take pictures of. He has no air filters on the carbs, so it should be pretty easy. Send me an e-mail and I will try to get the info to you as soon as I can.
