71 911T Decklid grille finish?
I'm converting the rear grille from black paint to chrome, I know that the mesh stays black, the grille will be chrome but what of the vertical flat bars that hold it all together. Were they originally chrome or black? My guess is chrome but want to make sure. Thanks in advance.

I have noticed that the edges of the horizontal black strips on the rear grille of my 82 SC have started to fade.
Would anyone know if this is something that can be repainted or restored and, if yes, what preparation and products are recommended. Jack |
