Al Reed (Anaheim, CA) took a few bends/dings out of mine when he refinished them almost 2 years ago.

It all depends on how bad the bend is. As a rule, I'm not too fond of fixing bent wheels. Once it gets bent it weakens and then when it gets fixed (re-bent), it weakens it again.

There are several in Mass you can try as well. Keystone in Taunton can straighten it out as long as its not center bent, possibly while you wait...ask for Norm

There is an outfit someplace back east that has a intricate process for repairing bent fuchs wheels. The price is reasonable too. BUT i don't know what that company is!
sure we all know the "usual" shops that can repair the rims- but this place did something pretty special . Any clues ?

Thanx to all.

I was mostly concerned because I know fuchs are forged and most other rims are cast. Didn't know if thats an issue

I found a guy local who can straigthen them to within 2000ths runout which is just noticeable to the eye, but not as a shimmy.

May be the company I posted. FWIU the founder invented many of the tools/machines used in the repair/straightening/truing process.
