911 guys have opinions on F1 right?

A very cool survey just came out...

If you took your 911 out to Indy, you'll be interested in this.

Even if you didn't get lucky enough to drivethere, or even be there, cast your opinions and be heard!

Yeh right they listened to the last survey they ran.

Just one example, people wanted F1 to remain at the pinnacle of motor sport with no limits on technical devlopements and inovations. So the FIA is freezing engine development and going to a single tire supplier, how do those two things mesh?

Way to involved survey. I started middle lining everything after question #13 and quit after #20.
They are going to have to pay me to work that hard. Even JD Powers gives you $1

It's a good thing that they have the survey, but I honestly don't think Max Mosley gives a rat's a** about F1's fans. The man's an idiot. He preaches about cost savings and causes MILLIONS to be spent developing new V8s when he could have just mandated rev limits and intake restrictors on the existing V10s. If they want overtaking, severely restrict the size of the wings and aero appendages, make the cars wider again, and you'll get a lot more following closely and overtaking at the end of straights. I can't wait until the first Microsoft engine ECU 'bluescreens' in 2008. Pinnacle of motorsport - what a crock. Ferrari will be right back at the top next year because of their relationship with Bridgestone, and their refusal to limit testing. Why do they get to have their own standard and the rest of the garagista a different one ? The spoonfaced punter/parker/team-order-cheater won't retire because he's a selfish b*stard, I see F1 turning into a Ferrari-dominated spec series.

That's the most ridiculously complex survey I've ever seen. Is there a follow survey on the survey?

Note the lack of a US flag on the survey. That, along with Bernie's recent quote makes me guess they have a special filing cabinet for US respondants ...

"It doesn't matter to F1 if there's no GP in the US. What do we get from America? Aggravation, that's about all ... We've never got any sponsors over there and the TV has never taken off - we have more viewers in Malta."

I think you're probably reading too much into it, especially since it asks to pick a flag for language preference and there are also no Canadian and Australian flags, which also both host races. The quote is a bit discouraging though.

He's just being a dick,,,,,it's all part o negotiations.

Bridgestone and microsoft will have a large presence in F1 next year, and the Amrican market is important to them. And the teams want a American stop. They're in Montreal already, so the US stop is no big deal.

Bernies just posturing....for money, of course.

Of course he is, they'll sign a new deal with Indy although I think it's a bogus circuit (good venue, bogus track).

Interesting the survey is associated with AMD but Microsoft won the common ECU contract.
