Dash Top Covers

Any body install one of those dash top covers. Do they look ok or just like a cheesy piece of plastic? Are they hard to install? Does anyone know of a better quality one (ie vinyl or leather covered)?

Hi,
I tried one of these a few years back on
my 911. The grain didn't match and thus it
looked like a cheesy half-assed job.
Fortunately I didn't glue it on and was able
to return it the next day. I would suggest
either the cloth dash covers or biting the
bullet and replacing the dash, IMHO. For
the early cars the correct dash is > $700 new
but occassional decent swap meet finds pop
up around $50-150.
