Passenger Exhaust Strap?
I know the passenger side exhaust strap is a little longer than the passenger side. When I put the exhaust back on I have too much slack (on the passenger side).... Does the passenger side exhaust strap go around the hard oil line by an chance? It doesn't make sense to me...but there has to be a route that takes up the slack. The driver's side strap is tight...it just goes around the back side of the hanger and bolts in the together in the front. Any ideas....?

I figured it out....a brain fart moment. I guess when you look over and see the tube that connects the heat exchangers to the blower (sitting on the ground)...you have an a ha moment. I bet 3" round tubing will take up slack...

Boy hanging that exhaust has proven to be kind of a pain....I had removed everything when I was repainting the engine tin, pulley cover, and cross member....I'm almost there...had to take break, but I think I have it all figured out. It's like a jigsaw puzzle...The last time I mounted the exhaust bracket a little too high, so the the edge wouldn't fit into the slot once the exhaust band was on.....Oh well, sometimes you have to figure out what you did wrong, before you can do it right..
