66' Rear bearings
I am going to rebuild rear calipers, replace flex lines and replace cv boots on my 66. I had planned on repacking the rear bearing, but I'm having second thoughts now. I have the manual/ instruction on how to remove the bearings. I've seen the article on making your own tool to press out the bearings. My question is once you press out the bearings can they be reused. In other words, do you damage the bearings to get them out? As far as I know they are in good shape, the front were anyway. They only have 37,000 miles on them.
Also if I'm missing something that would be recommended to replace/repair while doing this project please let me know. Thanks Jay.

usually those types of bearings do get damaged. You should check arond for parts first just in case. The 65-68 cars are different and some parts are hard to come by.

That's what I thought. I guess I'll just leave them alone and see how they do. The front ones looked fine, I just thought I'd clean and repack while I had it open working on the cv boots. The bearings are available but fairly expensive.
